Pretty things can pack a punch, too. Much like how the Oppo R17 Pro is not just one gorgeous sight to behold, it is loaded with the latest technologies that a smartphone has to offer.
The first thing you will notice about phones is its appearance. And what an eye candy OPPO R17 Pro is as it gives off the northern lights vibes when light hits its gradient design.
OPPO R17 Pro’s is 6.4″ all-screen Full HD AMOLED besides its little teardrop notch dedicated for the 25MP front camera. The selfie camera stays true to OPPO’s selfie expert claim. It is covered in Corning Gorilla Glass which strongly braces it for impacts.
Turn the phone around, and you will see the three cameras with their own roles that work together harmoniously to produce winning shots. Placed at the topmost is the TOF sensor or Time of Flight for 3D scanning which can be used for AR gaming. The TOF is also the one responsible for the good lowlit shots. In between is the main 12MP wide angle shooter with f1.5/f2.4 apperture that adjusts depending on lighting conditions.
Down the bottom is the last 20MP secondary camera which is in-charge of the zoom and blur on photos.
Besides the Facial Recognition technology for security, R17 Pro now features an in-display Fingerprint Scanner which looks like it could be a phone straight out of the future for the way it lights up as you’re about to unlock it.
OPPO brought home what they call “bi-cell technology” which stores two 1850mAh batteries into the OPPO R17 Pro, giving it a total of 3700mAh. You might ask why did OPPO decide to split a massive battery in half, the simple answer is, it’s for safer charging. The R17 Pro supports Super VOOC Flash Charge, which can bring you max power for about 30 minutes.
OPPO is amped up by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with 8GB RAM and a whopping 128GB storage that is more than enough for all the photos, videos, and applications that you want to store. It runs on Android 8.1 oreo with ColorOS 5.1.
